Hello!

I am woman who has embarked on her 4th chapter of life (turned 40 in January), and I am loving it! Perhaps, the old adage is true... with age comes wisdom. I feel like I'm finally "getting it". :)

I believe that women of all colors should have a place to find peace, comfort, and sisterhood. If we start with ourselves (healing from past pain, etc.), we will continue to be blessed.

I am glad to be part of this network!

About the author:

Adonya Wong, an Army brat from Southern California, currently resides in northeastern Oklahoma with her husband and son.

After graduating high school, she joined the Navy where she served in Iceland and Maryland. She also served with the California Air National Guard.

She has a diverse professional background working in industries such as banking, telecommunications, sales, and healthcare. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Business Administration.

Adonya began writing short stories and poems at a young age and finds she writes her best through the inspiration of her loved ones.

In My Mind: The World through the Eyes of Autism" is her first book and was inspired by her young son who is Autistic.

When she is not writing, she heads the nonprofit which she founded, M.O.C.H.A. - Mothers of Color for Holistic Alternatives, Inc. as well as head the Tulsa chapter of Holistic Moms Network, an international nonprofit.

She also enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Oklahoma, watching movies, or curling up with a good book.

About the book

In My Mind: The World through the Eyes of Autism is an endearing tale about how a child with autism sees his world... and how the world sees him.

Child What You Think You Know 'Bout Life......

My philosophy on life must be prefaced with what I believe is true and that is anyone with an idea or way of thinking can equally call themselves philosophers. My personal beliefs may or may not be the same as others but we all have something to contribute that provokes thought or commentary. So with that said, as a self proclaimed philosopher, I will write about life as it pertains to marriage, parenting and finances and how all of these combined builds happiness in life, since they all correla… Continue

GOD AT WORK THROUGH CHRISTIANS SHARING THE GOOD NEWS!

Greetings, GOD AT WORK is an email sent from time to time from The Gospel Testament League to its members. Here is one of great significance to those that share the good news with others outside of church. Here is a copy for your prayerful reading and consideration to join the League too: When you leave the Word of God in their hands, the Spirit of God goes to work in their heart. Lillian from Madison, Mississippi, shares this truth in a story posted to our website recently: On a trip to… Continue
