Thanks for sharing. Trust me, I understand it is hard to let go. I have to constantly remind myself this daily.

SO TRUE, Robin! This is something I'm slowly learning to accept, and there are many benefits that come with the acceptance of this concept. Thanks for the reminder.

It's About Balance

I am the founder of A Balanced Life, LLC
Women Aspiring to Achieve Balanced and Fulfilled Lives

I believe women can manage their competing demands without losing their sense of self. It is important for us to define our values and realign our lives in accordance to these values.

I am the mother of a wonderful 16 year old daughter. I also work fulltime for the Department of Defense and attend school fulltime. It is because of these many different roles that I founded A Balanced Life, LLC.

Running Late

Living a life out of balance can become a habit. A life that lacks focus and direction will soon become unbalanced. When this repeatedly happens this unbalance actually becomes the norm. It can begin to feel comfortable. One major area that tends to quickly become unbalanced is your daily schedule.

Those who live a unbalanced tend to always run late. I lived my life for a long time in a state of tardiness. People began to expect me to arrive 5 to 15 minutes late. I was late for work, for church… Continue

It Is, What It Is

One important thing that women should come to terms with is that there are some things we just can't control. Being able to distinguish between what we can and can't control is important when striving for a life of balance. When you understand this distinction and accept it then it keeps you from wasting time and energy.

Life brings each of us a bunch of "stuff" to deal with. This is not to say that this "stuff" isn't upsetting or there isn't any need for concern. However, fretting over things… Continue

For the year 2009 - 20010, for everyone that leaves a full message on our Guestbook at the end of our website with your First and Last Name telling us how you personally feel about Child Abuse, we will showcase you on the Honorable Mentions Page on our website, add you as a Friend here on this Network, and place a link to your business – regardless of what it is, on our website, which gets over 200 hits a day.

Here’s the link:

We are doing this because in leaving your message on our Guestbook, you are showing us that you are working as hard as we are to save the lives of our African American Children - and therefore you deserve this much. Keep in mind that we are interested in reading your own "Personal" feelings about this Epidemic. We look forward to reading your words on our Guestbook. (Be sure to turn up your Speakers – there is R&B Music on every page!)

I, and the Children who manage to survive this Epidemic,
will never be able to thank you enough.

Visit me at www.execumama.com, perhaps we can find ways to reach women through our similar concepts.
