Hello everyone!
When my husband and I found out that I was pregnant with our 1st child (14 years ago) I had a choice to make. I was in college, working toward an international career. With the news of a baby on the wa, my plan was to be WonderWife, WonderMom, and WonderStudent all rolled into one. Well, one day the Lord spoke to me and said that I could either do it my way or I could do it His way. I chose His way, and I have never looked back. I have to say that what I thought I was sacrificing by leaving the school/career track to become a SAHM, the Lord has brought back into my life 1000's and 1000's and 1000's of times over. My husband has jokingly said that we could switch - he would be a SAHDad and I could work outside the home because I could make so much more money than he could. I laugh every time he says that because I have decided that I will never work for anyone other than my husband and Jesus. They are the only 2 people who will ever be my boss. And as a matter of fact, now we are in ministry and we operate a business from home!

Glad to find this group. I too get that "are you crazy?" look when I say I am a SAHM. I am proud of my decision to stay home and be the main influence in my children's lives.
